Walking in a winter wonderland!
The wedding of Masha & Vadim was designed to evoke feelings of winer celebrations in their native country of Russia.
These two newlyweds met exactly one year ago tonight, on New Year's Eve. The holiday is one of their favorite nights of the year, and became the inspiration for their wedding.
To create the feeling of winter in Russia we started with the idea of snow; a storm that would cover the entire ballroom in a bright white light. Our friends at Party Palace Rentals in California came out to set the high gloss dance floor and hang drapes around the perimeter of the space while Inna and her team set to work installing a magnificent white chandelier. Weighing in at over 200 pounds, the piece was assembled on site with hand laid orchids and crystals. Each table was topped with white sequence linens and clusters of white arrangements. Tall taper candles peaked out from the tops, and chest chairs created a cool feeling in the space.
Our entertainment, coming from DJ Legacy, included 11 pieces, singers, dancers, and a late night DJ. The Bellagio Resort provided food to the tune of 7 courses presented family style. We served everything from warm spice olives to charcuterie and cheese, meat, fish, and pastas. Dessert stations peppered the corners, and while couple themselves are fiercely private and asked for discretion in sharing their wedding, I did get permission to share a collection of their photos, including one of the bride and groom in their reception wear!
Enjoy this beautiful wedding...And this New Year's Eve and always, I wish you love.
