When Your Wedding Planner Gets Married ~ The Cinematic Trailer
It is my nature to be very private about my own life. After all, my job is to give you YOUR dream wedding, not my own. But when a Wedding Planner gets married it's only natural that people are interested in seeing what choose for their own wedding, and I am both flattered by the interest and so proud of what the amazing people at Four Seasons Las Vegas, Naakiti Floral, Alt F, Your Beauty Call and Couture Bride were able to do ~ I can't hide their amazing work! Having it captured on video by the brilliant Memory Lane Cinema allows me to share it with you all...Live!
Having gotten the trailer of our wedding video last night I resisted the urge to showcase it immediately ~ We really just wanted to savor the memory privately for just one night. And I kind of feel like Oz, lifting the curtain to show what happens behind the scenes in my own life.
What I hope is that this trailer will inspire you to go out and connect with a videographer and cinematic team that you love. Your wedding day will only happen once. Video is the only media that will allow you to relive your wedding time and time again from a sensory perspective. Your photos will be the daily reminder of your wedding day, visually bringing you back time and time again each time you see your portrait hanging in your home or set next to your bedside.
Video allows you to travel back in time. You get to walk through the moments of the day and have it come to life. Your video will re-engage your senses - the sights, the sounds, the way someone moves. Not only will I get to see the day again through my eyes (like the look on his face when he saw me for the first time) but I will get to see the day through his eyes – what he saw as I turned the corner. I can see the day through the eyes of my mother as she watched us take our vows.
The perspective of video is unmatched and allows you to relive the day and see things that you missed in the flurry of emotions. I know that there are a million little details and nuances that I failed to notice because I was so wrapped up in the emotion of the day. Looking back on it now it going to give me a whole new appreciation for our wedding, and what we notice and connect with will change year after year….
Believe me when I say that life changes in an instant, and the ability to see your loved ones, living and breathing and smiling with such joy...Just being able to hear someone who isn't with you at a later time is life changing. Watch the trailer and you will know what I mean.
