Las Vegas Wedding Planner Andrea Eppolito introduces you to the Keep Memory Alive Center. This stunning building is not only a sight to behold, but its charitable contributions make the world a more memorable place.
As a wedding planner I often times tell people that I am not selling food or flowers, menus or music...I'm creating moments that become memories. To do that, you need to entice all five senses and deliver an experience with flawless service - ensuring that you and your guests will be able to mentally step back in time and relive these moments again and again.
The Keep Memory Alive Center located just 15 minutes from Las Vegas Boulevard and bordering on the newly revitalized "downtown" community was built with these sentiments in mind. The "brainchild" of Larry Ruvo, who began working with doctors and research organizations when his own father was stricken with Alzheimer's, was designed by Frank Gehry and awakens the imagination through fluid use of metals, stark white walls, and artistic expression.
From their press piece:
Our Las Vegas event venue, designed by legendary architect Frank Gehry, includes 199 windows in an undulating stainless steel canopy. An event at Keep Memory Alive is truly a one-of-a-kind experience, day or night.
Our event venue accommodates 400 seated or 700 for a standing reception, and offers opportunities for excellent cuisine, a superior wine selection and exceptional personalized service. In addition to the indoor space, you may also extend your event into the breezeway and Gehry-designed gardens.
The Keep Memory Alive Event Center is one of the premier venues in Las Vegas. Our event venue provides the flexibility your event needs: indoors or outdoors, we'll make your special day unforgettable.
By hosting your next memorable celebration at the Event Center, you help us to preserve memory for others. Special event revenues collected by Keep Memory Alive support Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health's core mission: enhanced treatment, research and the prevention of brain disorders
So, without all of the standard press release stuff, here's what I love about the space - First off, it's gorgeous and totally unlike anything you or your guests have ever seen before. Secondly, there is a flexibility that exists here that is hard to find anywhere else. With the Rolls Royce of audio-visual equipment built right in, a kitchen that is absolutely to die for, and in-house caterers such as Four Seasons and Wolfgang Puck you are given a virtual carte blanch to create whatever environment and menu you desire.
And, most importantly, I believe that life is about meaning. Everything and anything you do should be done with a purpose...especially on your wedding day. What if you or a loved one was stricken with a disease that stole these milestones? Would you not wish for a place like this? During a time when your sole purpose is to create long-lasting memories and impressions, I think that hosting your wedding in a place created only to safeguard those memories is a really lovely and gracious thing to do. And if it makes your wedding day all the more special and stunning....well, that's just the icing on the whimsical and topsy turnvy cake, now isn't it?!?
I am lucky enough to be planning a very special gala event here, set to take place this September. Stay tuned for photos and a profile of what I know is going to be an exciting evening towards the end of the fall.
