Welcome to Part II of Kaitrin and Jason's Bellagio Wedding!
Kaitrin and Jason's marriage was made official during the signing of the ketubah. The ketubah, which was custom designed, hand painted and shipped into Las Vegas from their hometown of Chicago, is the traditional Jewish wedding contract, outlining the responsibilities of the bride and groom. Jason's family rabbi traveled to Las Vegas to preside over the ceremony. In addition to the signing, Kaitrin and Jason also participated in a Bedeken Ceremony, during which the veil is placed over the bride's face. Watching these ancient rituals was both moving and celebratory, as they truly signal the beginning of the celebration and marriage!
While these rituals were taking place in a private ballroom, guests arrived at the Grand Patio where they were met flat and sparkling water. Purple satin yarmulkes were set out for the gentleman, and everyone picked up a program to familiarize themselves with the bridal party and what was the come.
The stage was set by Naakiti Floral with candlelight, purple petals and an ethereal white draped chuppah that glowed against the backdrop of the Bellagio. The ketubah was placed under the chuppah, just off to the side of the kiddush cups. Honored family members and the bridal party took their places as the classical music played. Finally, Kaitrin was escorted down the aisle by her mother. The guests sat in silence as Kaitrin and Jason exchanged rings and vows. They sealed their vows with a kiss and are now Dr. and Mrs. (soon to be Dr.) Jason Kramer!
Immediately after being pronounced husband and wife the new Dr and "soon to be Dr." Kramer took a few moments alone to simply savor the moment! Then they set off to take full advantage of the Vegas lights and get some amazing photos taken in front of the Bellagio fountains!
We have one more post coming featuring the gorgeous wedding reception of Kaitrin & Jason Kramer! Stay tuned!
