Sometimes, it takes technology! After moving to a new area, Crystal decided to try her hand at online dating. But after taking a look and a few failed attempts, she decided to pull the plug when a notification showing that Rob had just viewed her profile popped up. Something about him felt so familiar, and when she decided to take a further look on Facebook she came to see that they shared mutual friends!
Messages turned to emails, emails turned to talks, and they met the next night. Knowing from the beginning that they were destined to be together, Rob began planning an elaborate proposal that took over 3 months and many friends and family members to execute!
On the morning before Crystal's birthday he brought her breakfast in bed. While she began getting ready to meet some friend for a pre-birthday lunch, Rob presented her with an early birthday present....A small book he had made that detailed their last two years together. On the last page was a photo of a tiny box with a caption that read "What will the next pages be?" Crystal looked up to find Rob on his knees with a ring and a single red rose. With a proposal like that, Crystal obviously said yes!
As Crystal reached for her phone to share the news, he suggested she wait until after lunch to ring people, and when they arrived her friends presented them with celebratory champagne before leading the newly engaged couple to a party in their honor. There, Crystal opened a sealed Manilla envelope which contained a journal detailing all of the work Rob did leading up to the proposal. He said it was his was of talking to her and sharing the experience with her without ruining the surprise.
Crystal and Rob wasted no time in beginning to plan their wedding, and as soon as they called me I knew that we were going to have a wonderful time together. After working remotely for months they made it to Las Vegas where we put the finishing touches on their September wedding and even squeezed in a few engagement photos.
I cannot wait to watch them get married this fall at The Ghostbar at The Palms. But until then, please enjoy these beautiful photos taken by Altf Photography, with hair and make up by Your Beauty Call.
