By the time Jasmin and Phillip got engaged they felt as if they had waited long enough start the rest of their lives together. And so rather than wait another moment, they eloped to Las Vegas with only their parents and immediate family in attendance.
Still, as anyone can tell you...Small weddings are often times big on glamour and emotion! Dressed in a blush pink gown she fit in right off the rack, and with a horsehair veil trimmed in lace, Jasmin wed Phillip on a private balcony overlooking Las Vegas before heading to Scarpetta Las Vegas for a their first dance (to the sounds of Bella Electric, who played alongside Andrea Bocelli that same evening). Later, they enjoyed cake and champagne before heading off to a private dinner for two.
One of the best things about "power planning" is that you don't have time to obsess over every little detail. When pressed, couples tend to shoot from this hip, making decisions based solely on their desires and what feels right in their guts.
This couple had a love for one another that transcended space and time, and which truly moved me.
Being their wedding planner was an honor. Being their new friend is even better!
