Recently the style mavens and editors at Grace Ormonde Wedding Style Magazine have redesigned their blog to appear more editorial; to show more like a magazine.

Just this morning, I was notified that my own personal wedding was taken from the Archives and redesigned as well.  The story and photos were updated, and the piece has never looked better!

Luxury Las Vegas Wedding Planner in Grace Ormonde Wedding Style

ANDREA EPPOLITO & TONY FISHER

November 24, 2012 in Las Vegas, Neveda

Tony Fisher was the manager of BOA Steakhouse when he introduced himself to Andrea Eppolito–a luxury Las Vegas wedding planner, who was having dinner with some friends. When leaving, one of Andrea’s friends predicted the restaurant would be calling her to offer her a job. Andrea replied, “No, but maybe Tony Fisher will call and ask me out to dinner.” Her friends laughed and kindly told her that Tony didn’t seem interested “in that way.”

The next day, BOA Steakhouse called and offered Andrea a position. Although they were colleagues, there was no immediate office romance taking place. “It took Tony a few months,” Andrea describes, “but one night after working on a series of events, he followed me to a stoplight, motioned for me to pull over, and kissed me.”

Because of their involvement in the wedding and event industry, the couple had personal relationships with all the vendors who helped with their wedding. “Tony and I really trusted the people we were working with, and believe in giving truly talented people the freedom to do what they do best,” says Andrea. “Aside from giving general ideas in terms of style and color, we really allowed them to create whatever they wanted–they did not disappoint!”

The wedding ceremony was set up on the exclusive and private Fountain Terrace at the Four Seasons Las Vegas, where guests were seated on white benches surrounding a white circular stage. The bride and groom’s children walked down the aisle–their son pulling their daughter in a white wagon–before the bride made her entrance on the arm of her brother. A large, wrought iron gate decorated with thin garlands of white orchids marked the entry point, and an instrumental of Cold Play’s “Fix You” played as she made her way towards the groom. The bride’s father, who is immobile, was proud to give her away via phone.

For the reception, the newlyweds joined their guests at one long table dressed in blush linens, votive candles, crystal goblets, framed place cards, and high and low centerpieces of roses and orchids. Toasts and speeches were given by the bride and groom’s brothers, followed by a spectacular multi-course dinner. Guests enjoyed a family style selection of salads, appetizers, intermezzos, and entrees such as bone-in fillet, New York strip steak, pork chops, and whole grilled lobster. Dessert was also served family style and featured cannoli, tiramisu, chocolate cake, and wedding cake. At the end of the night, guests departed with their own miniature cake in ornaments that they could enjoy at home.

Now married, the newlyweds can’t say enough about each other. “Everything Tony does comes from a place of being good and doing what’s right,” Andrea says. “Life doesn’t always travel in a straight line; and so, instead of a wedding, we built a marriage and a family. We always intended to get married in a ‘someday’ sort of way, and then one day we did.”

From Tony’s perspective, he believes life is all about timing. “I waited to kiss her until the timing was right; and for the last eight years, everything in our lives came to us when and how we needed it,” he says. “Andrea is the best partner, the best friend, and the best mother you could ask for. She wants success and happiness for you more than you want it for yourself.” As for the wedding? Tony says, “Everything about the day was perfect, being surrounded by our children and our families. We wouldn’t have done anything differently.”
