Yesterday I shared the photos from My-Lee & James' Las Vegas Wedding Ceremony at Chateau Nightclub & Gardens.  We kept the ceremony inside for a dark, sexy, mysterious feeling...Making the wide open rooftop gardens and reception a complete and utter surprise!

My-Lee and James were welcomed into their wedding reception by the thundering applause of their family and friends.  They took their place on the dance floor beneath the chandeliers and scaffolding of the Eiffel Tower, the Bellagio fountains danced as the DJ played "I Won't Give Up"in their honor.

As guests left cards and well wishes at the vintage birdcage, we opened up the reception with butler passed hors d'oeuvres, overflowing displays of exotic fruits and cheeses, roasted vegetables, carving stations and more.  A stand of Parisian props was set up for those wishing to take personal pictures, and a champagne bottle served as a unique guest book.  In fact, My-Lee and James actually designed welcome baskets around the champagne and hand delivered them to each guest suite!

As the sun went down the light, white reception took on the glitz and glamour of the famed Las Vegas Strip.  Having given them "something different" in a romantic "white" with "dazzling" touches, it was time to unveil one of our biggest surprises of the evening.  What would that be..???...Well, White and Gold Chinese Lion Dancers, of course!  I mean, seriously, how could you plan a Las Vegas wedding without them?!?

Why yes, those are Chinese Lions dancing at the wedding!

The Las Vegas Kung Fu Academy sent an entire troupe of three white and red lions, dancers and drummers to the rooftop of Chateau to perform for the guests.  In a not-so-subtle nod to My-Lee's Chinese heritage she and James fed the lions for luck in life and love.

As the lions finished their dance, Las Vegas Wedding Photographer Adam Trujillo loaded a spectacular same day edit of the photos he had taken up into the jumbo screen set above the DJ Booth.  As Chateau's resident DJ spun for the crowd, the photos circled through on a slide show giving guests a sneak peek at the wedding photos.  Imagine being able to share your photos with your guests nearly immediately after they had been taken!  It was truly incredible.

The night was far from over!  My-Lee & James decided to forgo the traditional wedding cake, opting instead for another action station of custom crepes.  And for those who just had to have cake?  Five different flavors of cake pops!

This wedding was everything that the bride and groom wanted it to be...Different, unique, sexy and fun.  With just enough softness and romance to feel like a wedding, a few big surprises for the guests and a party that could only have taken place high above the Las Vegas Strip.  But what struck everyone about these two and thier families was the absolute joy and love and respect that they all have for each other.  There just wasn't a dry eye in the house as we listened to the family and friends toast (and roast) them.  And when James got up and thanked everyone at the end of they night, you could tell that he and My-Lee were so grateful to everyone who had shown up to celebrate with them from around the world.

I miss my weekly phone calls and text messages with My-Lee and James, but I have no doubt that we will find ourselves keeping in touch and getting together again on their next trip to Las Vegas.  They are wonderful!
