Behind the Scenes at a Winter Wonderland Wedding
It was Mother's Day in La Jolla when Masha called me about planning her wedding. She and Vadim had met on New Year's Eve, and had gotten engaged after an intense courtship that saw them blending their lives and little ones. They eloped in a traditional Jewish wedding ceremony in New York before heading to Las Vegas for a "Christmas in October" celebration of their love.
The theme was actually Masha's mother's idea. It came to her while she was traveling, inspired by the holiday celebrations they have in their native Russia. And we made it happen!!! In less than five months of planning while working with a team of over 100 people from Los Angeles, Glendale, New York, Russian, and Las Vegas, we transformed the Bellagio Monet Ballroom into a white and blue snowy dream come true.
Our amazing friends at Stephen Salazar were on hand to get great images and a wonderful video for us - Stay tuned for those! Until then, check out these incredible #BTS photos from our set up!
PS - It took two days to set up the floral ceiling installation alone! Each flower and crystal was hung individually by hand! Check it out!
