Military Couple Ashley & Ronnie hosted their wedding at the Aliante Resort in North Las Vegas.

The thought of crazy wind storms and unseasonable rains is enough to break the spirit of any couple...But not Ashley and Ronnie!  This couple was focused on one thing and one thing only during their wedding weekend at Aliante Resort - and that was each other!

With the bride being one of five children, I knew that this would be a family affair!  Ashley spent the morning getting ready with the sisters, cousins and bridesmaids in her suite.

The bridee's ruffled wedding dress was soft and romantic.

A tulle veil, crystal hair clips, and open toed bridal shoes were the perfect accessories to complete the feminine look.

Bridesmaids gathered around Ashley to say a prayer before she said her vows.

Ronnie, who had just returned from a training deployment, took the opportunity to spent the afternoon catching up with his groomsmen. Ronnie decided to forgo the traditional dress blues and instead matched his bride in a white on white tuxedo.

Ashley wanted fresh, vibrant colors of whites, ivory, red and jade green.  As a nod to the fall and to pick up the gorgeous tones of the rock walls  we infused touches of chocolate-brown.

Ashley was escorted down the aisle on the arm of her father.  The ceremony, officiated by a family friend, included personal touches such as a unity candle and the jumping of the broom.

After the ceremony guests moved into the Scottsdale Ballroom, where they were greeted by a professional grade football, in honor of the sport that both Ashley and Ronnie love, and that he played when they first met!  After the final guest had signed it the ball was placed in a glass case which will be displayed in their home.

Ashley and Ronnie came in to a standing ovation and took a stunning turn on the dance floor.

Moments later Ashley was joined by her father, the amazing Mr. Meyers! And I have to say, on a personal note, I just adore her dad!  He was charming, lovely and just so in love with his wife and his children!  Such a joy to watch and I loved talking with him!

One thing I can tell you about this group - They were all smiles, all night!  And they came to party!  In all of my years I have NEVER stepped back and looked out onto a sea of empty chairs and tables.  Everyone young and old was on the dance floor from the first song to the last - Thanks to the musical styling of DJ Twisted!  Some of our Task Masters were even pulled out with them!

Every way you turned, you could not help but notice how happy all of the guests were.  Photo by www.altf.com.

It finally was time to cut the cake - a three tiered confection of vanilla white cake and lemon berry filling.

In the end, despite the crazy weather, Ashley & Ronnie had a wedding filled with laughter and love, family and friends and above all...Just a little bit of football!
